This policy explains how the current Cashier Compass website handles information when you browse it and use its comparison tools. It does not cover the separate websites you reach through external links.
Information you enter
The website does not provide account registration, a newsletter subscription, or a contact form. Search terms, filter selections, and calculator figures are processed in your browser. The site’s application code does not send these inputs to a server.
If you email us, your email address and the information you include are used to handle your enquiry. Do not send payment credentials or identity documents.
Your saved shortlist
The comparison feature stores selected listing identifiers in your browser’s local storage under the key cashier-compass-shortlist. This allows your selection to remain available as you move between pages or return using the same browser.
Use the clear button on the shortlist bar to remove the saved selection. You can also clear this website’s data through your browser settings. Blocking local storage may prevent the shortlist from being remembered.
Technical requests and hosting
Loading the website makes requests to its hosting service for pages, images, scripts, and directory data. These requests expose technical information needed to deliver the site, such as an IP address, requested address, browser headers, and request time. The hosting provider may keep service and security logs under its own policies.
This version of the website does not include a site analytics script, advertising pixel, or an optional-cookie banner because the application does not set optional analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting or access services may use their own necessary technologies.
External websites
